Are you a time poor mum that wants to get fit and can’t get to a gym? Try the online gym!

Exercise classes are so popular that it’s helpful to have someone guiding you through a program, whether that’s aerobics or weight training. One answer is to do your class online. Because these are almost always pre-recorded videos, you can use them whenever you have time. Take to Google and YouTube and find a class that suits you.

Yes watch your calories but try to exercise them off too. Most of us need a ‘treat’ to look forward to. Instead of feeling guilty, think about how many calories it takes to exercise it off. Keep track of what you eat on a Weight Loss Chart. We can forget easily what we ate a few days ago. By keeping track you can also see what works for you.

Walk as much as possible, it’s good to do because it burns calories, like any other exercise. Even better, it’s a practical way to exercise; you can combine walking with other things you need to do during the day, and get more done. Stop online shopping and get walking down the aisles.  Walking tones as well. Start small like a 30 min walk and try and aim for an hour walk in a few weeks. Walking also improves your circulation, both of your blood and your lymphatic fluids. That’s particularly important if you have a job where you’re sitting down a lot.

Do your kids have a mini trampoline?  You can use it, too. Jumping on a trampoline doesn’t burn a lot of calories, but it does have other benefits. It’ll get your blood circulating, and increase your breathing rate.  Use you stairs at home if you have them, Lift weights in front of the TV. You need to look around the house at what you can use.  Or just become obsessed about a clean house, it burns the calories!

Look at everything as exercise.
